Now vs Then

Looking at old prototypes of the game, I realized the game started at the end of 2010! That's a ages ago in game development time. Not counting the very early prototype of 2008 where I first tried to tackle these interactive stories, here's a neat screenshot progression of the love suicide level:

End of 2010! Not even death was implemented here. And I had a different idea on how things should work...

Trying to come up with the story simulator. I should revive the green monster.

Roles like heroes, princesses and villains are fleshed out. Players have the whole toolbox available! I later decided to only leave a few elements per level to prevent the game from becoming too overwhelming.

Reduced toolbox and facial expressions.

Settings like the castle and the fields.

Everybody could commit suicide in this version. Only two characters can do that now.

Old STABLE version, including "challenges" or "variants".
